Physical & Occupational Therapy
What Are Physical & Occupational Therapy?
Physical therapy and occupational therapy are both types of medical care that use natural, non-invasive, movement-oriented means to relieve pain, return from injury, and restore normal function.
These means include, but aren’t limited to:
- Pressure-Point Release
- Modality Application
- Splinting & Bracing Production/Management
- Joint Mobilization
- Kinetic Activity
- Therapeutic Exercises
In either case, The Hand To Shoulder Center patients typically notice results after one visit and complete treatment after six sessions.

We take a physical therapy approach that focuses on the health of the entire person, which we call our BodyWorks Program. This program has been designed and perfected by our staff to help reduce pain, improve function, and most of all, empower you with the tools you need to maintain your results for the rest of your life.
Whether you’re an athlete that’s put serious miles on their body or someone who just wants to play with their kids without pain, the BodyWorks Program could be a perfect fit for you.
Benefits of BodyWorks include:
Returning to a Pain-Free Life
Learning Long-Term Strategies
Feeling Physically & Emotionally Empowered
Having More Daily Energy
Exercising & Playing Without Pain
While we offer many physical & occupational therapy programs to tackle more specific issues, the BodyWorks Program is designed to provide general relief for the aches & pains that typically afflict our patients.
"Compassionate and Knowledgeable"
One of the nicest and most competent doctors I have ever been to. Very compassionate and knowledgeable. Took his time, explained everything thoroughly. I highly recommend him!! Thank you Dr. Lesley for a wonderful experience. Also his office staff and nurses are wonderful and the wait time was the shortest I’ve ever experienced. A+ in my books!!
View On GoogleExcellent diagnosis and treatment. Both myself and my wife have used Dr. Lesley and his PA Maddie. They are excellent at listening to the problem and making a spot on diagnosis. Dr. Lesley is not quick to recommend any invasive treatment. He and Maddie attempt to solve the issue with the least stress and discomfort. The two are highly recommended.
